Photography by Guy Seese
Absolutely creative advertising photography by Guy Seese, professional and very talented photographer, based in San Francisco, California, United States.
People recognize Guy as a huge creative talent because of his portfolio of award-winning work. But what makes Guy extraordinary is that he brings as much strategic acumen as he does creative juice. And, he does so in every medium — digital, branded entertainment, branded content and experiential marketing. Guy will inspire our creativity and help our clients do culturally engaging work that gets results.
For Guy Seese, humor, creativity and being on the cutting edge always have come naturally.
But the technical skills he needed to secure his place in the forefront of the advertising industry came through hard work and persistence.
“My father was an architect and my mom was an interior designer, so they always wanted me to be creative — but my dad wanted me to turn a profit too, he wanted me to make money,” the 35-year-old Seese said.
So, he worked his way through school by mowing lawns, including that of advertising executive Jim Walker, now president of Sedgwick Rd. and formerly with McCann-Erickson Seattle.
That connection led Seese to what he thought was his “big break” when Walker agreed to look at his portfolio. Instead, Walker pointed out his evident inexperience and lack of computer knowledge. Walker didn’t slam the door, however. He offered Seese the opportunity to teach himself how to use computer programs in the McCann-Erickson office after hours.

I’m impressed with what I’ve seen here. Photography has long been a of mine, and I enjoy reading around other people’s sites to check their pictures and read up on tecnhiques, etc. Keep doing what you do. If you get a chance, take a look at my gallery at http://www.ducktrapphoto.com
