This is “Light Painting” photography or “Long Exposure” photography by Aurora Crowley, professional photographer, based in Brooklyn, New York.

The artwork is an unexplored technique due to its unpredictable results called “Lightpainting Photography”. Not to be confused with “Camera Tossing”! The technique is expressive as “traditional” painting is on canvas. “Painting”, fused with “Photography” with film as the canvas, and a feeling of the energy, light, and time is up to you to dodge and burn to get an original effect. Its basically long exposure photography that is shot in total darkness. The exposure is hand lit with any kind of light source with colored gels to create the color’s desired.
